Falafel Sandwich
Amazing flavours you'll want to keep trying over and over. A hearty sandwich that's tasty and naturally highly nutritious and won't make you sleep in the afternoon!
Serving size: 1 (1 sandwich)
You can get ready to eat Falafels and also Hummous and the salsa from your deli section. Ask for assistance if you've problems finding anything
Ingredients
- 1 medium sized Pitta bread (brown or the ones with mixed herbs - your call)
- 2 falafels (Cauldron do a pack of 8)
- 1 Tablespoon Sliced Red Peppers
- 2 Tablespoon Rocket (or your favourite lettuce)
- 1 Tablespoon of sliced avocado
- 2 Tablespoons Hummous
- 1 Tablespoon mild salsa1
Method
- Warm Pitta Bread slightly and slice length ways keeping the back end intact (so you have a pitta bread hinge)
- Spread Hummous on both sides of the pitta half
- Warm falafels up and mush up so evenly spread into one side of the pitta halves.
- Spread salsa over the falafels and add the red peppers, rocket and avocado evenly over
- Close other half of pitta and you're good to go! Enjoy!
